The Solution
Suction Stow offers a convenient, hygienic way to store your hard suction or Yankauer catheter tools between use. This in turn prevents any undesired movement which reduces the risk of dropping or cross contaminating the catheter and exposing healthcare providers to potentially life threatening pathogens. When a catheter is contaminated medical professionals need to replace it leading to delays in care when time matters most.
The Problem
Options for storing and securing hard suction devices during and immediately after performing an airway procedure in the pre-hospital and hospital field are limited. Medical professionals struggle to find viable work arounds to compensate for this problem. This can lead to loss of time and money, and the potential for compromising the health of the patient and the person performing airway suctioning.
