About Us
Suction Stow™ was founded by Tomas Martin, a Firefighter/Paramedic with over 20 years of experience in emergency medical services. Since 2004, Tomas has worked in private ALS ambulance services and hospital emergency departments, gaining firsthand insight into the fast-paced realities of patient care.
Throughout his career, he recognized a simple but persistent problem: suction catheters often had no safe, secure place between uses — increasing the risk of contamination, dropped equipment, and workflow disruption. Suction Stow was created to solve that problem.
Built by a clinician for clinicians, our mission is simple — improve safety, reduce biohazard exposure, and support more efficient patient care through practical, real-world innovation. We are committed to helping healthcare providers stay focused on what matters most: delivering life-saving care.

“I like that someone's thinking differently and creating a relatively cheap solution to the possible contamination of suction catheters and other airway equipment.”

“In fast-paced environments, organization matters. Suction Stow gives our team a clean, reliable way to store Yankauers between uses while reducing exposure risk. It’s become a small but essential part of our workflow.”

“Suction Stow solved a problem we didn’t realize we’d accepted as normal. It keeps our suction catheters visible, contained, and ready between calls without slowing us down. Simple idea, big impact on scene safety.”
